This place doesnt even deserve 1 star. Im taking the time to write this review because the service at this Baja Fresh location doesn't even deserve 1 star. Im extremely disappointed with my experience and I hope no one goes through what I went through.
If you are considering this location to do any sort of catering... DO NOT DO IT. It was the biggest nightmare! Save yourself the time and headache and go to a different Baja Fresh location. I called to place TWO large catering orders for a big event I was hosting.
When I called, the lady that took my order had an extremely hard time understanding my order. She asked for my credit card information and said she said she would write everything down on a piece of paper and have the manager call me to confirm and place the catering order. thought it was a bit strange but didn't take any further action on it. She said the manager would call me in about 2 hours. The manager never called. So I thought "okay, no worries. he probably got busy. " I called the next day to see if I could speak to the manager so that i could get my two catering orders confirmed. The employee that took my call was extremely rude!!! She told me that the manager wasn't going to be in until the next day. Well I went 9 days without hearing from the manager!! I would call every other day to check on the status of my catering order and every time the employees had a different excuse as to why there was no manager and how nobody could help me. I even had one employee tell me "I'm too busy to help you so i don't know what you want me to tell you".
Two days before my big event, I noticed that Baja Fresh charged my credit card for a little over $600. When I saw the charge come through, I was so confused because I never heard from the manager and I never even knew what my total was. At this point I am extremely frustrated and The Baja Fresh at the Market Place STILL was not helping me. The employees there are completely useless!! So I called the Baja Fresh in Downtown, desperate for some help and answers. Lupe was extremely helpful and kind and very apologetic about the situation. She really went above and beyond to help me get answers and help me get a hold of the manager of the Market place location.
When I finally got a hold of the manager, he was extremely unprofessional and didn't make any sense! He was all over the place and seemed completely lost. His information wasn't consistent. He kept on changing his story and really seemed like he had no idea what he was saying. He couldn't give me an explanation as to why my card was charged for that amount. And I asked if he could email me the itemized receipt. Hours later, I received his emails and the receipts did not match my order, the date of my order or anything. It was very very sketchy!!!!
At this point I told him I wanted my money back and the orders cancelled. He said he could not give me a refund or cancel my order. I was outraged!! How is it that Baja Fresh charged my credit card in advance? and how is it that i want able to cancel my order and get my money back on a catering order that never even happened???
Save yourself the headache and trouble. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE WITH ANY KIND OF CATERING.
