Broad Street Inn

Whenever I go to Nevada City, I stay at the Broadstreet Inn, located at the top of hill just above town. I've been going for years to this cozy family owned, "green" inn and always enjoy the cheerfully decorated (and very clean) rooms. An enclosed patio is located on the 2nd floor where you can get coffee, tea, and assorted snacks such as fruit, popcorn, and oatmeal. Oh and fresh baked cookies, too! The rooms are small but well appointed and are accessorized with a television, heater, ironing board, blow dryer, and more. Most importantly, the beds and pillows are luxurious. It's a great place to celebrate a romantic weekend or as I did, a solo road trip. I appreciate that you can walk a mere 4 blocks to the Inn after an evening of dining and listening to music at any one of over a dozen venues in town.
