Yep, I went here for around two years, or 5th and 6th grade, basically. Back around 2011. And I did love it, or most of what I can remember. The sunday school classes weren't huge (1st service 5th and 6th grade combined consisted of only me and one other boy for quite a few weeks), but I liked the church, we made good friends, (smaller churches make that easier) and I at least was sorry when we left for CCCM around the summer of 2011. And the teaching was decent too! (Although I can only speak for the Sunday School.)
If you're looking for a church–well, I have no idea if it would be a good fit for you (or even for me, as I haven't been there in a few years), but I would nevertheless encourage you to try it. It isn't apostate or heretical. It's (I think) up-to-date. It's run by good people, although I have heard a few of them are (gasp) Calvinists. In short, you could do far worse.
Even if it isn't for you, Calvary Chapel churches are generally Bible-believing, and, wherever you go, I hope you decide to attend one of them. Be careful everywhere else!
