Perfectionist. That is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Dr. Chen. I’m extremely careful when choosing a dentist. I was a TV News Reporter in the largest markets in the nation as well as on CNN. Fifteen years were spent in front of a camera showing the world my teeth. I rarely write reviews, but Dr. Chen and his staff certainly deserve a great one. The office staff go above and beyond to make sure your insurance company pays for everything possible. The hygienists don’t waste your time, yet give you a deeper clean than you will receive anywhere else. Dr. Chen describes everything in laymen’s terms (using technical language if preferred). He shows you detailed pictures of your teeth, x-rays included, before, during, and after every procedure. He makes sure you are always comfortable. Blankets are in every room. They put sunglasses on your face. Meditative music is always playing. A “pillow” gets inserted inside your mouth so it stays open without the patient even trying. Numbing agents are provided before you need to ask. If you wince, Dr. Chen explains what you’re feeling and immediately stops to numb the area even more. The receptionist is second-to-none and sincerely cares about your treatment. All of the staff, in fact, are people you’d happily invite over for Thanksgiving dinner. Note: Dawn is pretty nutty. You never know what she’ll say next! I highly suggest everyone check this place out. You won’t receive better treatment anywhere else.
