Casa Palmera Treatment Center

I wanted to love Casa Palmera. I really did. I thought that by the looks of it, they would do what they could to keep addicts away from temptation and would do a diligent and serious job at keeping the men and women separate as well as drugs and alcohol out of the facility. Unfortunately, while my husband went to treatment, he ended up having a "sleepover" with a group of other men and women and ended up having sex with one of the girls, Sydney (who is, too, married). I was devastated knowing my husband is broken, weak and obviously not in the right state of mind. How could this go under the radar? Who knows what else went on (drugs, sex or otherwise) but either way I think I good resolution to this would be better security, better awareness and more strict pat downs and check ups. While visiting, it was clear that anyone of the visitors could easily bring in contraband or any other drugs or alcohol into the facility because there is absolutely no security. I understand that it is up to the addict to say no but if casa could reduce the risk of triggers and be more aware of whats going on in the facility not only would my marriage have had a better chance of surviving but others may have a safer and better experience overall.
