Chanticleer Vineyard Bed & Breakfast

We spent a most enjoyable two days in the Chanticleer Vineyard B&B, wonderfully cared for by Carolyn and Roland, who are the nicest hosts you could imagine. Everything about the B&B was excellent, with comfortable rooms, each with a private deck overlooking the wooded areas interspersed by neat rows of vines. Our only reservation was that the shower/bath is open plan, where we would prefer a closed bathroom. A complimentary bottle of excellent Grey Wolf red wine was placed in our room upon our arrival, which we drank sitting on our deck after we had checked in. There was also a variety of candy in the room, as well as coffee, tea and cookies. As we arrived in the afternoon, Carolyn asked if we were hungry and gave us a very nice snack of cheese, apples etc. which went very well with the wine. Carolyn’s breakfasts were great – hot coffee ready for the early birds, and a really tasty hot breakfast made with fresh eggs and other excellent ingredients. We both enjoyed staying at this B&B, which is definitely one of the top B&Bs in the Paso Robles area. Wallace, the dog, as well as Little Girl, the cat, and the two chickens added to our enjoyment of our mini-holiday. Another nice feature is that you can enjoy a one mile walk right on the property. Thank you, Carolyn and Roland, we’ll certainly be back again.
