Hemger Shmeegle

Horrible 50's faux art-deco decor obviously by Andy Warhol's cousin. I half expected Wally and Beav to show up in a fake sock hop advertisement advertising a dance of the jitterbug. Could these people be any more outdated? I understand the whole "simplicity in industrial retail shelving" thing, but it has definitely been taken TOO far here. No sense of design or flow at all. I felt so cramped between the energy bars and the top ramen I nearly had to stave off a panic attack. Definitely evokes a sense of being trapped instead of liberated. Horrible, rough matte-brown paper towels in the bathroom left me wondering whether to subject the skin on my hands to a rough scraping or to simply leave without drying. One wonders if the management feels a clientele without skin on their hands would lead to more sales. Of lotion, perhaps? Absolute cutthroat tactics. And another thing, to say Miguel's customer service leaves a little to be desired in in fact quite generous, When asking about a certain flavor of energy drink I frequently partake of he simply responded "We do no have week". As if this answers my question at all! What does that even mean? He might as well have spit in my face. Never have I felt so unappreciated and in fact scorned. Shame on you Chevron. Shame on those horrible pastel colors on the outside of the building. I understand that management may have liked those fake gas station toy sets as children but did you have to model your whole building after one? To think I have even frequented this establishment at all simply makes me want to vomit. My money would be far better spent on a locale with a far better sense of aesthetic. Maria's upswept front bangs and bushy mullet tail suggest a completely out of touch staff base. Hairspray-plastered bang waves? What is this 1987? Jesus! Shame on you Chevron. Enthusiastic thumbs down.
