I made the mistake of giving the office a chance. I set up an appointment with a Dr. Elijah Meeker (I don't know how someone can carry the title of 'doctor' if they're still interns). First off, he addressed me by last name only, no first name, no 'Mr.' at the front. The next hour consisted of him asking a questionnaire, no connection made, no empathy, not much in personal responses from him. Much of the time involved him talking over me or asking me to repeat myself several times. A number of serious topics were brought up, but usually met with a dismissive 'uh-huh'.
I advised the office that I won't be coming back, got a phone call the next morning asking why. Told them why. Got a whole bunch of apologies and promises that the incident would be reported to so and so. Regardless of whether she meant it or not, I was still out 50 bucks. Never met Dr. Mathe in person, but with how his whole outfit is run I'm just merely reminded that there's profit to be made in the desperation of others.
