Clean & quiet, yes. Since most residents own their lots, there is a HOA. Renters are allowed to attend monthly HOA meeting but are not allowed to vote. Mismanagement has cost residents money as board members decided to hire a Los Angeles based attorney rather than locally. Beware if looking to buy your own slice of SLO heaven at Chumash Village, transparency is not a strong point. Infrastructure upgrades are needed, so expect the unexpected.
