On 3/21/16, I received a fill at City Nails located at 218 Broadway in Chula Vista, California. Unfortunately, that evening one of my nails chipped on the corner; the following day I called and spoke with the manager who advised they close a 7pm but I was unable to get to their shop before closing so I stopped by the following day (Wednesday, 3/23/16). Debbie at Station #8 originally did my nails and instead of repairing my chipped nail correctly, she wanted to simply file the corner leaving it uneven. When I declined and advised I would just go to another shop for the repair, she flew off in a rage speaking in her native language - I can only guess what was said. I notified the manager and he agreed with his employee, UNBELIEVABLE!
I am disappointed because I paid for a service that was at the very least substandard work and to add insult to injury they were too lazy to correct the problem. Obviously, there was no resolution or attention in addressing this issue, as I suspect discrimination is a factor in this case.
I'm sharing this most unpleasant experience with you and all my associates, clients, family and friends so no one else will be exposed to the same disrespect and lack of professionalism.
SHAME ON YOU, City Nails!
