Order a $30.00 medium, recieved it well done it was like beef jerky. Talk with the manger Felix all he offered was a free desert. No thank you. The server was great (Nick) not his fault, but bad management by Felix. At the end I told him I was giving them a bad review and he took it off the check. Lame, I spent $105.00 total had a bad experience.
Went there to celebrate my birthday. Had dinner reservations for 8:15 pm; arrived and were told that it would be a little later, because my reservations "somehow got loss". They did apologize. Seated at 8:47pm. Ordered the Prime Rib Special, medium rare; what a disaster. It came out to virtually "medium well", vegetables were medium warm (you could see that my plate had set for a while under a "warmer light". Complained to Management, and they reluctantly (by the look on the faces) took it back, to get my order correct. I say this as an indicator that the employees are not satisfied and very unhappy and THEY KNOW they will be laid off soon, so they really don't care, as evidenced in the food preparation and the Customer Service. I WILL SAY THIS - in defense of the company - the Claim Jumper Restaurant near my old home in Van Nuys, CA , was terrific - food was excellent, service was impeccable, so I thought I would try this one in Temecula, CA. These disappointments don't happen overnight, and I imagine they have been going thru this for some time.
