Despite having lived in the Sacramento area for most of my life and being a musical theater fan, I never knew about the Community Center and have always gone to San Francisco for productions. Know I know there's a quality theater in my backyard that means I don't have to go to SF if I don't want to!
The theater is spacious and well designed with comfortable seating. I had third-tier balcony seats and was surprised by the amount of room available in the rows. The balcony seats at the Orpheum are cramped and uncomfortable, but here are easy to navigate and comfortable to sit in throughout the entire production. There didn't seem to be a bad seat in the place.
