I have two children currently at Growing Tree; one in Young Two's and one in Older Three's. I cannot say enough nice things about this school. The teachers are all amazing and my children love them all. The teachers chat with me every day and fill me in on what has been going on. My older daughter previously attended another school and once we switched her to Growing Tree her academic skills progressed by leaps and bounds. My younger daughter comes home having learned new songs and talking about her favorite books. Each week her class adopts a theme, such as the farm, food, the senses or Thanksgiving, and all activities like art, songs, books read etc revolve around the theme. I'm amazed how much of what she learns sticks and is referred to out of school without prompting. Overall, the kids are appropriately stimulated but are also given ample time for play activities and social development. The directors and support staff are also amazing and incredibly friendly. I guess the only negative for some might be that their extended hours don't run as long as some other schools (8 am to 4:30 pm). For me, though, this is the perfect preschool.
