I've been studying with Josh for over two years now, and I cannot recommend him more highly. He is not only a fantastic actor and coach, but the fact that he continues to act and pursue his own success makes him extremely distinct from most other coaches I've had; on an emotional level, he understands the struggles of being an actor and can help his students get through those rough patches (and there are undoubtedly rough patches in every actors' career), and on an intellectual level he has a deep understanding of the inner workings of Hollywood and the gatekeepers that control whether you, as an actor, get the job. All of this coupled with his intense script analysis skills and empathy towards his characters makes him the best combination of all possible traits in an acting coach. He makes you a better reader (because you need to be able to locate the clues in the script that point you towards the most interesting choices), he makes you a better actor (because once you know what those choices should be, executing them is another feat entirely), and he makes you a better professional (because you could be the best actor in the world, and if you don't operate within the framework of Hollywood as an industry, you'll never find success). It's no wonder so many of his students have succeeded themselves.
