R. KASSMAN, Purveyor of Fine Pianos

I was so impressed with the selection of pianos and the proprietor Russell Kassman, that I bought my piano there! This was after playing numerous pianos in Santa Barbara, San Francisco, San Jose, not to mention my area along the central coast. Buying a piano is not an easy decision. Many factors go into this decision. I had a decent budget and spent it on a wonderful preowned piano. Without Russell's help, I'm not sure I would have picked the right one. I thought his approach was thoughtful and intelligently presented. I really was impressed with myself...yes myself! I thought it would be much more difficult. I kept listening to the 4 pianos he played for me within my parameters. He kept me at a distance so I wouldn't know which piano he had played. I repeatedly chose one of them. After listening I sat at each one and played them myself. Time flew by, but I suspect it took me nearly 2 hours to arrive at my decision. He even tried to talk me out of the piano I selected, but the twinkle in his eye made me persist. I knew he was doing this for a reason. His theory was that if you are not challenged by looking at potential negatives that he might point out, you may never be happy with your choice. I am not only happy but thrilled, sometimes to tears, each time I play this piano. I would also like to point out that his guarantee is the best I had seen. There are also a few other perks I haven't mentioned due to space and time constraints. Within a few days it arrived at home. The movers were really good and knew what they were doing. Once they left I played for hours! It was just what I wanted. I had made the right choice. I can't recommend this "Purveyor of Fine Pianos" enough. Thanks Russell.
