Sam's Club

Worst first experience. I called this location to ask about their tobacco sale policy and to ask if you had to be a member in order to purchase tobacco. I informed them that the location in citrus heights stated you do Not have to be a member for tobacco or alcohol in California. They confirmed it also. Since I was in the middle of the two locations I headed to Folsom, upon arriving the person at the door pointed to the area in which the tobacco is located. After informing the cashier the items I wanted, she proceeded to check out than asked for my membership card. I asked to speak to the manager and all she could say was, "I'm sorry I'm not sure who you spoke too over the phone from here, but they don't seem to know the policy. I cant sell it to you if you don't have a card" Why do you have them answer the phone than!! Nothing but false information and rude supervisors. Defiantly will not be returning nor will I purchase a membership, CostCo has my business 100%
