Tacos Al Pastor

This place is soooo good. Great service. Great food. Soccer on the tube, always. GOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAALLLLLLL!!!!!! I have had their chicken tacos, rice & beans, chicken taco salad and tamale platter. Never a bad experience. SSSSCOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRE!!! Too bad I start eating before taking pics. The plate is always picturesque and appetizing. I'll try to remember next time. ;^)

Food is pretty good (a decent al pastor) a bit pricey. Burrito (regular) $7.00, good size,but contains exactly: rice,beans,meat. No salsa, no pico, no cheese, no onion. A lonely loveless burrito with potential. Sad. Beans are a little too dry. Need a splash of water in that pot folks ! Let it ooze a bit. Service was not great but seems they were very short handed during the slow, late afternoon. The Unsmiling Lady at the register was quite agitated and impatient. Waiting with her order-pad in-hand as we quickly skimmed the menu and made our choices. Only two other customers in there... sitting at tables waiting for their orders. Come back here in the future? Hmmm...maybe not. Sheesh ! Really unfortunate that this area of Almaden has no good restaurants or cafes. It's all fast food /suburban franchise. (Mo's doesn't count cuz it just flat out sux.) :(
