Poor quality for expensive furniture. My experience which happens to be only a few months old is very disappointing.
The teak wood must be low grade and the design (or how they are assembled) of the chaise lounge together with the hardware (that is not very good) has led to reoccurring issues.
Among the issues: Things do not fit together properly leaving gaps, sometimes bolts go through the wood when tightening as instructed, the assembly comes apart even though I followed their recommendation to use glue, etc.
This was not the least expensive place to shop either. I simply liked the design and the measurements of this chaise the best.
It is important to mention that Teak Smith (Mike) has tried to mitigate the situation. However, the longer I own these chaises (3) the more apparent it is how flawed they are and that they will never hold up the teak furniture is supposed to.
Just months later, the chaise I was sitting in broke and collapsed and I am of average weight (205 lbs.). They offered to send a new chaise if I paid shipping costs which was not cheap and not a solution. Why would I want to go through hell again!
I do not recommend making your purchase with Teak Smith or Teak Station or Wholesale Teak. They are all one in the same.
