**Parents of special needs child**
My son has ADHD and is high functioning autistic (which they were informed of in advance and it was not a problem), he goes to a school without any form of after school care. Trinity Lutheran is one of the only places that accepts school age children in an after school type program. He only attended this after program for 1 hour 3 days a week. My son would tell me the children were not very kind and would tell him he was annoying, he would come home daily informing me that, “they were mean” to him. I heard nothing of this from the one very rude and dismissive aide whom watched the children every day. We were asked to remove my son from the program because he was “too much too handle, and he was being disruptive to the other children”! The person I spoke with to discuss the reason for this action, informed me my child “hurt” other children I was NEVER ONCE informed of this nor has he displayed these behaviors in his own school!
Bottom line, not the place for anyone with a child who is “disruptive”.
