I was talking with my mother recently and her visit to the UCLA seizure center came up.
She went with my sister to get emotional support during what should have been a multi-day study, and in day one they end up setting off the biggest seizure of her life, one that lasted multiple hours according to my sister who was with her.
Due to my mother keeping her eyes open during seizures, the staff ignored my sister asking for/begging for help, for our mother.
Early the next day the staff rushed the two of them out of the facilities and had my mother get into her car(as a driver) without even giving her time to get back on her feet, or come to terms with what just happened. No respectable medical team would ever do such a thing.
According to my mother and sister when they asked for the report of what just happened the night prior, they got told that they can't give them a copy it's not what they do.
When they asked for a copy of the video they took of the study, and subsequent hours long seizure, once again the staff said they can't give out a copy. How ever this time it was becausethe staff claims that they already had deleted the video files.
The whole things screamed BS to me,
Like the staff knows they ducked-up, and just wanted to hide the mistakes they made.
So let me ask you;
DO YOU WANT ANY FAMILY MEMBERS TO DEAL WITH SUCH A GREAT TEAM?
I would hope not, I gave them one star just to write a review, to be honest they deserve much less than one star.
