Wow! I was amazed! I was in and out in 10 minutes. I was helped by a very professional staff member; courteous, great attitude, knowledgeable. And NO I don't work for the government!

Yes, you CAN go to this location if you are not from Placer county AS LONG AS YOU DON'T NEED A REPLACEMENT SOCIAL SECURITY CARD! With that being said, I had less issues at this office than I have at other offices. Yes, there is generally a wait, and its a social security office so some of the customers might be a bit unpleasant. But overall the wait was not not long when I went, and the staff and security guards were very friendly and made my visit very quick and painless. Everything seemed pretty orderly as well, compared to other locations. They do now have reduced hours so be sure to call and get the hours ahead of time. Especially on Wednesdays.
