I was in a real pinch. 1-800-Flowers got my delivery date wrong. It being Valentine’s Day, I stressed they needed to be delivered today. Then they said they no longer had that arrangement available for a ‘today delivery’, I told them I was fine with any popular arrangement, even if I had to pay more for it. Then they came back with, “Yeah, we’re too busy and can’t deliver today.” In desperation as it was now 3pm, I reached out to Juan at Verdugo Florist and to my surprise, after hearing my story, he said he could do a same-day delivery. I said it needed to be there before 5pm as that’s when my girlfriend gets off work and he said he could do that. Sure enough, she got the roses and she said it made her day. That’s all I wanted. Thank you Juan! You are a total hero!
