I am an oncology nurse and my patient just came in post chemo treatment the other day. I was suprised that she still had her full head of hair b/c this type of chemo usually causes complete hair loss. When I asked about it, she told me it was a wig and that she had her hair cut off for it before the chemo. I was amazed! Even the oncologist came in to look at her and no one could tell it was a wig.
