Mt Tamalpais Cemetery

After a mistake of the wrong date engraved on the marker, they rectified the error as soon as they could. Not sure which party was responsible, but it was taken care of so my loved one can rest in peace. The staff was courteous and pleasant every time I called or visited in the past several years. The grounds are fairly well maintained, other than that some areas are not watered due to the drought. A very peaceful location.

My parents pre bought a niche and my mom prepaid for services and everything else that comes with it. My dad passed in 1980. At that time everything was handled well. My mom passed in September of 2016. We had the service and she was placed in the niche with my dad. At the time, I was told it would be 6 to 8 weeks to get her name plate added. It has now been one year and there is no name plate for her. I am told it is the foundry's fault. Fine - but there has to be some way to force the foundry to complete the work they have contracted to do. I am not able to get anyone to do anything as it was all paid for years ago. Be careful buying and prepaying for a package. Customer service is not their greatest strength.
